In Belarus, a road is blocked as a post is in the middle of it
In Mogilev, Belarus, a new road is closed to traffic as a post is in the middle of it. As Gorad.by reports, the road is not yet in use, although for the last few days, transport has been flowing smoothly down it. Why it was not closed as soon as someone realised a pillar was in the middle of it is not clear.
The story about the pillar was in local media a few days ago. It was reported that the unusual route was located at the junction of Kalinovskiy and Maslenikov street. It links the regional hospital with the Kazimirovka district. No warning signs about the pillar have been placed on the road.
Drivers said that the road appeared recently, and they try to carefully go around the pillar, and for the time being, no incidents have been reported. The Mogilev executive committee have told car users to be careful, and have not required that the road be closed, TV channel ONT reports.
It is expected that in the near future, the pole around which the asphalt was laid will be relocated. Andrey Sasin, Deputy Director of Capital Construction of Mogilev city executive committee said that dismantling the pillar “is the responsibility of ‘Mogilevenergo'”. According to him, after the support has been moved, its former location will be re-asphalted.

Put some fences around the post, plant some flowers, and all that. Yeah, put a cardboard traffic cop, like it’s a control point. No-one will ever guess.

They built the road and didn’t notice the pillar )

On the Tyumen bypass a similar pillar stood in the middle, they took it out once they’d widened the road

A pillar, unlike an open manhole, is at least visible from afar.

After news like this, you can understand that Belarusians and Russians are more or less the same people)

This could only happen in Belarus… This pillar would have been long gone in Russia…

Guess the country from the picture. Aga! I didn’t get it.

The electricians and the road-builders were competing to see who the biggest idiot is. The electricians won.
