From Echo Moskvy:
Vladimir Putin has promised to look at a list of prisoners the opposition consider to be political prisoners
A list of 70 prisoners was handed to the president by the co-chairman of the RPR Parnas party, Vladimir Ryzhkov at a meeting with Putin and other leaders of non-parliamentary parties in the Kremlin. The head of state also said that he considers the idea of a general amnesty desirable, but it would have to be done correctly. We can’t scare society with this issue, said Putin.
