From Lenta.ru:
A tram has been stolen in Lviv
In Lviv, persons unknown stole a tram from the depot and drove around the city in it, until it came off the rails and crashed into a building. The UNIAN agency reports this, referring to the head of the public relations department of the Lviv Oblast police force, Svetlana Dobrovolskaya.
According to her, law enforcement received a report from the head of the Lviv tram depot that someone had stolen a number 5 tram from the depot at around 22.40 on the first of March. At around midnight, the emergency services received a call explaining that a tram had come off the rails and crashed into a building at the crossroads of Zamarstinovkskaya and Gaidamatskaya streets.
The tram thieves escaped the scene of the incident. No-one was hurt during the time the tram was driving around town, nor when the tram derailed and crashed into the building. None of the building’s residents were hurt.
In mid-January, a cleaning lady in Sweden stole a passenger train, but crashed into a building in the Stockholm suburbs after failing to understand the controls.

By the way, the article says that a cleaning lady stole the train, but in fact, it was explained later that she hadn’t stolen it, she’s just accidentally leaned on a button of some sort.
