Sherzod is a lazy PhD student who wastes his precious time surfing the web and reading fiction, when in fact he should be reading archival material and thick volumes on the utilisation of forced prisoner-of-war labour in Siberia. He divides his time between his biological child, a two-year old boy, and the metaphorical one, his PhD dissertation.
